This is a shader that I created to control different player colors. This blueprint uses two different values to control player color and which pilot model that is used. This is done with a 4-input lerp which selects different colors and textures depending on a value between 0-3. Special thanks to Emil Ström who helped me create the 4-input lerp.
After gametesting we realized that visual feedback was a very important factor for Friday Night Carnage. I created this shader to put extra pressure on the leading player while adding some extra punch to who levels up. To achieve unique textures for each leader I used RGB-packed texturemasks.
Interesting fact: There are 6278 people in the audience. And they're all going crazy in this world position offset shader.
